Case 10: Why Commercials Are Louder Than Television Programe




Why commercials are louder than television programe for showing entertainment. As with any SuperBowl that suddenly gain much attention from the audience is caused a comercial. The buzz create by superbowl commercial when consumers were asked what they talked about with they talked about with their coworkers the days after Superbowl, 47 percent of them talked about the game and the commercials.

Here I will try to discuss why it could happen?

First of the all. There's no specification for online content.
We try to normalize all the different content as best as we can, but it becomes difficult to meet consumer expectations without adding audio artifacts that might also be distasteful to the user.

Second, they don't always control the commercials
The other thing that makes this a challenge is the way a lot of ad integrations are done with online video. Often times a 3rd party company's video player is called in a run-time for ad playback.

Third, whether the advertisers pumping up their rating?
Both content providers and advertisers rarely realized that the user is exposed to the combined experience of all of their content together. The commercials are just as much of the experience as the content. It would be nice to see the industry understand this and agree to better standards.

Finally, in this modern era, people prefer to watch commercial which accounted for 31% female and 18% male. They do not like to spend a lot of time just for a TV programme show. They would rather just watch the ad and hope to be able for get the product which then replicate the artist lifestyle in advertising.
