You know,  you  are a young generation is can select to target market by the corporation. You are a potential market for them. In the fact, the consumer of some product coming from the young generation (Gen Y) such as Computer, laptop, i Pad, Pepsi, Sprite, and etc. 

The Gen Y is proven to be a top consumer in the market place. Many of them Born in 1981 to 1995 where this generation have high initiative and high involvement to buy something that they want. That is a reason why a lot of corporation provide advertising for young generation. The corporation make a advertising is extreme or danger whether it's for sports advertising or food advertising. it was deliberately formed to stimulate adrenaline that looks stylish when using the product  
Yeah...! it's advertising for Gen Y.

Young Generation. What is so special of Gen Y...?

There are so many studies have been done on Gen Y. This age group is very attractive to the researchers or the public because they have unique characteristics that represent the current era: the era of openness and fast paced / instant that one of them triggered the development of information technology.

In keeping with the era, Gen Y has a number of properties, such as very confident, like performing, ambitious, often cause side effects: unruly. They are not the type-obedient obedient, but always in need of reason of any act, to be matched with their own reason.
They need to feel the urge to do something on their own initiative, not because they were ordered. In their blood flow needs to prove to themselves that they can do anything Because of the desire to excel already present in themselves. Not be surprised if are many companies that creating extreme advertising and danger advertising. It used to stimulate and connect its products with Gen Y.

Red Bull targets young generation by using extreme sports advertising that show kids living on the edge. Can you look at your surroundings mainly the young generation. Almost all of them know this beverage with the brand Red Bull. This growing energy drink industry is giving millions of people that extra something to get through the day. 

That is a reason why the young generation became important part in market place. 

So, if you are top management or the owner of company. Don't forget to include Gen Y as your target market. because they are very special in marketing.
